A 240ml cup of decaf brewed coffee has 2mg of caffeine.
A 30ml shot of espresso has 60mg of caffeine.
A 30ml shot of espresso has virtually no caffeine.
A 240ml cup of instant coffee has 62mg of caffeine.
Decaf Instant Coffee
A 240ml cup of decaf instant coffee has 2mg of caffeine.
As you can see from the figures above, you can get away with drinking up to 5 cups of coffee per day. That said, if you have an existing health condition that you need to adjust your caffeine intake.
Take Note: Teens between the ages of 12 – 18 years old should limit their intake to 100mg per day. Also, take other beverages like tea and soda into consideration as they also contain caffeine.
